The Role
As a Commission only Sales Agent,, you will be responsible for driving demand and sales of their product lines among distributors, dealers, architects, builders, and contractors. You will be a key player in expanding their footprint in the South American region, working closely with stakeholders to deliver growth.
You will already have a portfolio of principals in the building products area, and contacts within the construction / project sector. You will already be an established, commission only sales agent.
Key Responsibilities
✅ Develop and manage a portfolio of dealers, architects, builders, and contractors.
✅ Maintain a strong call schedule to increase product awareness and demand.
✅ Provide technical training and support to builders, remodelers, and installers.
✅ Build and maintain relationships with key distributors and dealer networks.
✅ Identify new opportunities in adjacent markets and expand customer reach.
✅ Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments.
✅ Report on sales performance, forecasts, and business insights.
What You’ll Need
✔ 3-10+ years of experience in technical sales (Decking or wood building materials preferred).
✔ Strong knowledge of construction materials and value chain selling.
✔ Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Business, or equivalent experience.
✔ Fluent in Spanish, Portuguese & English (written and spoken).
✔ Strong negotiation, consultative selling, and customer relationship skills.
✔ Valid driving license and willingness to travel.
