Summary

Are you a motivated and customer-focused sales professional with a passion for design, architecture, and sustainability? We’re looking for an enthusiastic Sales Consultant to join our clients’ busy UKI team and help drive growth across their high-quality architectural product portfolio.

As a Sales Consultant, you will work closely with the London team to build strong relationships with Architects, Interior Designers, Developers, and Contractors. Your mission is to promote an extensive range of architectural hardware, sanitary, and washroom products — providing total solutions for modern building requirements.

This is a field-based role with opportunities to meet clients face-to-face across the region, supported by a collaborative internal team.

An opportunity to bring forward your established relationships to the business and develop new ones.

All projects will require management, and part of the day-to-day running will involve working closely with the estimating managers and updating the CRM/Pipeline System.

Sound technical product knowledge would be preferred, but is not essential as full training will be provided. The candidate should be an excellent communicator and be able to deliver a high level of customer service.

You will work on your daily tasks and report to the Sales Director.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve and exceed sales targets aligned to annual budgets.
  • Develop and grow relationships with architects, specifiers, and contractors.
  • Promote the sustainable product offering.
  • Actively manage and maintain your CRM and sales pipeline.
  • Conduct in-person and online meetings with specifiers and design teams.
  • Convert leads from various platforms including NBS Building.
  • Work closely with Estimating Managers on project management and pricing.
  • Create and execute a personal sales strategy (“Gameplan”) to maximise your impact.
  • Represent the brand professionally in all client interactions.

Competences Required

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently.
  • Good opinions
  • Confident using CRM systems and general IT tools.
  • A team player with a willingness to contribute and grow.
  • Ideally, some experience within the architectural hardware or the construction industry (but not essential — they’ll train you).
  • An interest in sustainability and circular design is a strong plus.
